About Me

About Me Image .png

My goal as a movement teacher is to facilitate a safe place for people to explore their own rhythm. A place to be curious, have fun, learn, and appreciate individuality in movement. I believe this is the best environment to make directed change in our bodies.

As a kid, I grew up practicing dance and gymnastics daily. During all of those years of training I had recurring injuries and imbalances. I thought maybe that was to be expected and that I would always have to push through it.

Years later, while pursuing dance professionally, I was introduced to Pilates, and I quickly noticed changes in my body! I felt more connected, stronger, and I trusted my body to support me more than I ever had. I knew from that point on that Pilates would always be a part of my life. I feel so lucky that I get to share my love of movement and Pilates with others!

Elise is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), Graduate of Pilates from the Center School of Natural Movement., A Level 1 Franklin Method Educator., and Graduate of The Kathy Grant Heritage Training® led by Cara Reeser.
