Methods
I incorporate both Pilates and Franklin Method into all of my sessions. I have seen and experienced first hand the powerful results that each of these methods have, and utilizing each of them ensures that my clients experience change in their bodies in each session with me; leading to positive long-term benefits and habits that help them continue to feel good in their bodies.
Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercises and restorative movement that was created by Joseph Pilates in the early 1920’s. It is designed to strengthen, stretch and uniformly balance the body. It promotes blood flow and circulation, improves posture, balance and coordination in the body, uniformly develops muscles, improves flexibility, and creates a deeper mind, body, and spirit connection.
Franklin Method
The Franklin MethodⓇ is a powerful practice for anyone looking to move with ease, prevent injuries, and feel better in their body. This method uses Dynamic Neuro-Cognitive ImageryTM, anatomical embodiment and sensory tools to create long-term positive changes in your body and mind. The Franklin Method was founded by Eric Franklin in 1994 and is now taught all over the world. His Method is often combined with other movement practices including Pilates and Yoga. At its core, this method can teach you how to leverage power of the brain to improve the functions of the body.
